Pike Pediatric Therapy evaluations include child/parent/caregiver interview, clinical observations, play-based assessment, as well as standardized tests to evaluate your child’s speech and language skills. Your child’s strengths and needs are examined to determine a plan of care and goals for treatment. You will receive a report once the assessment(s) is completed.

Fee

Price of evaluation varies based on the type of assessment completed. Please contact us for more information.

Therapy

Pike Pediatric Therapy uses evidence-based treatment approaches and creates a plan of care based on your child’s needs. All therapy is individualized to meet your child’s unique learning style, incorporate his/her personal interests, and capitalize on his/her strengths to support growth and development of his/her skills. After or during the session, Alex will provide you with homework and tools for helping your child’s skills generalize.

Fee

Please contact us for more information regarding the price of individualized therapy sessions.

PAYMENT

We are currently an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and Medicaid. We are out-of-network with other insurance providers; however, this does not mean that your insurance company will not cover some/all services. Payment for services is due at the time of your appointment to Pike Pediatric Therapy, LLC via check or our secure online portal for credit cards. Please call your insurance company to find out if you are eligible for

out-of-network speech-language therapy and/or evaluation reimbursement.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit, www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
